Thinking of getting a rescue dog?
Taking in a dog from a rescue centre is a great way to get a new dog and also give a new start to a dog in need.
Most dogs taken in from a rescue centre are well behaved and have a balanced attitude and settle in to their new home easy enough.
Sometimes a rescue dog needs a bit of assistance settling into their new home due to the stress of its new surroundings.
This could be due to lack of socialisation at their last home or the dog could have had a fear of something or someone and the previous owner did not understand what the problem is or was and gave the dog up. There are many reasons why they could have been given up on and passed on to a rescue centre.
